Biography
Dr. Gibson received his medical degree cum laude from the Yale School of Medicine in 2005. Following medical school, Dr. Gibson trained at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center where he completed a residency in radiology, two years of residency training in neurosurgery, and an internship in general surgery. He received his undergraduate degree with high honors from the University of Virginia.
Dr. Gibson is certified by the American Board of Radiology, and is a member of the Society of NeuroInterventional Surgery, the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Societies, and the Radiological Society of North America.
Research Interest
Dr. Gibson specializes in the treatment and management of intracranial aneurysms, stroke, arteriovenous malformations, and dural arteriovenous fistulae of the brain and spinal cord. He has co-authored many publications in the field and is a co-investigator in multiple ongoing clinical trials.
