Dr. Franco Servadei is Director of the complex structure Neurosurgery-Neurotraumatology (Department Emergency and Medical Area General and Specialist) of the University Hospital of Parma

He was orn in Forlì in 1951, he graduated in Medicine and Surgery with honors in 1976 from the University of Bologna, where he obtained in 1980 specializing in Neurology. In 1985, he specializes, with honors, in Neurosurgery in Modena. He started his career Bellaria Hospital in Bologna (1977-1989), one of the major centers of neurosurgery Italian, which is the whole pathology neurosurgery. In 1989 he moved to the Division of Neurosurgery Bufalini Hospital in Cesena, where he later became head of the form Neurotraumatology, executive level II finally director of the department of emergency. He has worked as a consultant for the neurosurgical hospital Maggiore in Bologna and for various hospitals of Romagna.

Since March 2007, He is the Director of Neurosurgery hub and spoke of the University Hospital of Parma (with activities also in Reggio Emilia).

Since 2006 he is an adjunct professor at the University of Padua in 2010 and also teaches in the graduate schools of anesthesia and resuscitation and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Parma.

He has published over 180 papers published (34 in the last five years). The activity is publishing that congressional participation is mostly focused on issues concerning the trauma and tumors.
