Dr. Warren is Dr. Warren is a twenty-two year veteran of the Delaware State Police, retiring in 2005, as the Director of Training, for the Division of  State Police. Captain Warren, during his career, served in multiple roles, from uniform patrol trooper to sergeant, Director of  Community Services, Director of Planning and Troop Commander. Dr. Warren is a certified Master Instructor and is the author of Police Academy: Training for 21st Century Law Enforcement; Captain Warren also served as the Administrator for the Delaware  Council on Police Training. Captain Warren received numerous awards during his career, including the Delaware State Police Exceptional Performance Award, Rotarian of the Year, Delaware Highway Safety Award, Commander’s Medallion from the United  States Air Force and Delaware Technical and Community College’s Award for Outstanding Alumni. Captain Warren is a certified  State and Local Anti-Terrorism training program instructor. Dr. Warren is currently an assistant professor and the program chair, for  the Organizational Management program at Wilmington University. He has also been an adjunct faculty member at Drexel University,  the University of Delaware and Immaculata University, teaching a wide variety of criminal justice and business related courses. Dr.  Warren has served on the boards of over thirty non-profit associations, councils and committees, including international vice chair ofof Integrated Strategic Management Systems. Dr. Warren holds his Doctorate of Education from Temple University in Philadelphia. He also holds degrees in  Police Science, Criminal Justice, Behavioral Science and Supervisory Management, and is a graduate of Northwestern University’s, School of Police Staff and  Command. Dr. Warren currently sits on the International Association of Chiefs of Police, Police Administration Committee and is a member of the Academy of  Criminal Justice Sciences and the American Management Association.  He is currently president of the GSA certified firm, the Strategic Management Research Center, which specializes in developing and presenting best business practices and training for their clients, including the State of Delaware, various local and  national law firms, Las Vegas Metro PD, U.S. Department of the Interior and the Pentagon. Dr. Warren is currently completing post-doctoral research into  Integrated Strategic Management Systems and advanced leadership practices. Dr. Warren is currently writing his next book, entitled "Take Us to the Top" and  finishing a 2nd Edition of Police Academy: Training for 21st century Law Enforcement.
