Biography

Dr. Gregory Gorman is an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the McWhorter School of Pharmacy at Samford University. He is also the Director of Research for the Pharmaceutical Sciences Research Institute also housed in the Pharmacy School at Samford University. Dr. Gorman earned a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Mass Spectrometry from the University of Georgia, Athens Georgia. He currently serves as mentor and research advisor to 7 PharmD students and has published over 35 peer-review journal articles, 2 book chapters and 24 abstracts.

Research Interest

Dr. Gregory Gorman research is focused on impact of complementary and alternative medications (CAMs) on efficacy and pharmacokinetics of chemotherapeutic agents, bioanalytical method development, post-lead optimization of new chemotherapeutic drug candidates and drug metabolism.
