Mei-Zhen Cui received her PhD from the Tokyo Institute of Technology in Japan and completed her postdoctoral studies at The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla, CA, and at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Cleveland, OH. She is an associate professor and the director of the Vascular Biology Research Program at The University of Tennessee. Dr. Cui has published more than 40 articles in prestigious journals and has served on editorial boards for four international journals in her field.
