Biography

Sanjeevikumar Padmanaban received his B.S. degree in engineering (electrical and electronics), M.S. degree in technology (electrical drives and control), and Ph.D. degree, respectively, from Madras University, Tamil Nadu, India, Pondicherry University, Puducherry, India, and Alma Mater Studiorum 1088AD, University of Bologna, Bologna, Italy, in 2002, 2006, and 2012. He pursued his Doctoral degree with full comprehensive grant successfully obtained from Ministry of University Research (MIUR), from the government of Italy (from January 2009 to December 2011) by securing 120/130 with the merit of first rank among international competition devoted for one foreign Ph.D. scholarship position. Also he successfully received full comprehensive grant from the Department of Electrical Engineering, University of Bologna, Government of Italy, to continue his research as a Postdoc Fellow (from January 2012 to December 2012). Sanjeevikumar worked as a Lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at IFET College of Engineering, Tamil Nadu, India (from 2002 to 2004 and from 2006 to 2007), prior to his Ph.D. research studies. Also he worked as Training Manager at Edutech LLC, Dubai, UAE, and from August 2012 to May 2013, he was employed as Associate Professor at the School of Electrical Engineering, VIT University, Chennai, India. Currently he has been employed as Assistant Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT, Puducherry, India) since July 2013. He has published a paper in the area of his research interest in power electronics and drives in national and international conferences and journals.

Research Interest

Sanjeevikumar Padmanaban's research interests include: Power Electronics and Drives, multiphase motor drives, multiphase inverter, multiphase-multilevel inverter, space vector techniques for modeling and dynamic control, synchronous reference frame, stationary reference frame and direct torque controlling techniques.

Response: Yes trends are always essential for journal to determine its research papers capabilities for readers. Journal should focus on recent development and trends in which research are highly required for development human society.

4. What are the qualities you look for in an article?

5. Can you give us a broad indication of the types of themes a scientific journal should cover?

Response: Journal should cover the maximum possible areas of research in particular domain which it was organized. Journal should give more priority to quality than quantity of paper published for long time foster in the field.

6. What sorts of research methods and frameworks do you expect people to use, and how will they balance conceptual and applied research?

Response: Research methods varies from one topic to another topics but in standard it deals with literature review, selection of software  and hardware analysis, confirmation of results with theoretical background and time frame for completion.

7. How would you describe the journal’s mission and editorial objectives to our readers?

Response: Mission of editorial board should have clear objectives to reach its high standard of producing quality paper works.

Response: Power electronics and drives application to power systems and renewable energy systems.

Response: As its state technology means focused on recent trends and development in the field to provide quality work to readers.
