Biography

I have worked in the field of Sport & Exercise Science for the last 22 years. My particular areas of expertise are in Biomechanics and Strength and Conditioning, with my research exploring optimising sports performance and in particular the effect of warm-up structures on maximum running and jumping performance. I am an accredited Strength & Conditioning coach and have worked with a range of elite teams and individuals including the English Institute of Sport and England rugby. I have a number of roles outside of UoB including acting as a tutor and assessor for the UK Strength & Conditioning Association.
