Peerasak applies processing operations to sustainably transform raw materials into functional food products that will enhance consumer health and well-being. His work involves the application of traditional and emerging food processing technologies in sustainable ways. Technologies he worked with includes microwave processes for food and insect disinfestation of fruits and vegetables, microfluidisation for modification of starch functionality,  high pressure processing for microbial decontamination and texture modification of food products. He has been involved in project management, people management, business development and client relationship management roles.
