Crop Nutrition

Crops require a balanced diet of essential nutrients throughout their growth cycle. Plant nutrition is the study of the chemical elements and compounds that are necessary for plant growth and also of their external supply and internal metabolism. Nutrients that are crucial for plant growth include macro and micro nutients like Nitrogen, Phosphorous, Pottassium, Sulphur, Magnesium, Iron, Boron, Zinc, Copper, Molybdenum, Calcium, cobalt,Nickel, sodium and silicon. Each crop needs a different range of nutrients at every critical stage of its development.
