The Pediatric dentists aid in maintenance and promotion of dental health of children. In other words it is the branch of dentistry that specializes in the care of children’s teeth Pediatric dentistry is an age-defined specialty that provides both primary and comprehensive preventive and therapeutic. Oral health care for infants and children through adolescence, including those with special health care needs. The primary reason for pediatric dentistry is that infants, children, and young adults have special physical and psychological needs. Their developing bodies need a focus on preventative care even more so than with adults. Problems identified and treated in childhood and adolescence can effect a lifetime of either good or poor dental health
