Biography

Louise Tourigny completed her Ph.D. at Concordia University, Canada in 2001. She is Professor of Management at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Her work has been published in several journals including the International Journal of Human Resource Management, Cross-cultural Management: An International Journal, the International Journal of Cross-cultural Management, the Canadian Journal of Nursing Research and Canadian Psychology among others. She has presented her work at several national and international conferences including the European Congress of Psychology, the European Academy of Occupational and Health Psychology, Work, Stress, and Health and the Academy of Management where she received the Best International Paper Award from the Health Care Management Division in 2009, and the Highly Commanded Paper Award from Emerald Journal in 2014. She was a member of the organizing committee and key note speaker at the Nursing and Health Care Conference 2015 of OMICS in San Francisco, CA.  

Research Interest

Dr.Louise Tourigny Research Interest includes pertain to the nurses and their working conditions, study of stress, Burnout and depression,Research on absenteeism, Turnover, Job attitudes and Job performance.Her most recent research interest pertains to alternative medicine and how it can be integrated in patient treatments.
