Neven Ukrainczyk, 1979, obtained PhD 2009 in chemical engineering University of Zagreb (title: Calcium Aluminate Cement Hydration Model Development’). He was awarded a personal post doc (EU FP7-IEF) Marie Curie fellowship for research at TU Delft on Diffusion in cement based materials. Since the beginning of 2015, Ukrainczyk has been working at the Institute for Construction and Building Materials of TU Darmstadt, where is currently working on a Habilitation since end of 2016. His research interests include reactivity and durability of cement and geopolymer based materials for sustainable construction, combining both experimental and computational analysis. He authored 26 journal papers, 45 papers in proceedings of international conferences and 1 chapter in a book.
