Dr Miller is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow as part of the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence, NeuroSleep and the Cooperative Research Centre for Alertness, Safety and Productivity at Sydney University, Australia. Dr Miller investigates Insomnia, with a focus on strategies for the successful delivery of cognitive behavioural therapy and is interested in the biological basis of sleep-wake behaviour. Dr Miller received his PhD (Sleep Restriction Therapy: Experimental studies) from Glasgow University - supervised by Prof Colin Espie and Dr Simon Kyle. As part of a Cotutelle agreement, he spent two years at Sydney University - supervised by Prof Ron Grunstein and Dr Delwyn Bartlett. Previously he graduated from the University of Glasgow (2009) with a BSc Hons (First Class) in Psychology and worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Glasgow Sleep Centre, Scotland, UK.
