She graduated from School of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Hacettepe University in 1986, completed Master of Science Degree at Exercise Physiology Department in Middle East Technical University in 1990 and Philosophy of Doctorate at Physiology Department in Gazi University Medical Faculty in 1994. Dr. Baltaci worked at Ankara University İbni Sina Hospital as physical therapist between 1986 and 1988 years, School of Physical Education and Sports in Middle East Technical University as research assistant between 1988 and 1990 years, “Institute für Sportsmedizine” in Salzburg-Austria as an exercise physiologist ibetween 1990 and 1991. She had an academic degree at Hacettepe University as assistant professor in 1995 and associate professor in 1997. After that, she worked at Baylor Sports Medicine Institute, Houston-Texas as “Fellow” in 1998. She won International Scholar Award belongs to American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and went to Baylor Sports Medicine Institute Houston-Texas as researcher for 2 months in 1999. She is also currently Secretary General of Turkish Sports Physiotherapy Association and responsible for giving the post graduate courses including mobilizations and manipulation techniques for lower and upper extremities, lumbar and servical regions, and Kinesiotaping Basic and Advanced Courses for Sports Physiotherapists in Turkey as an instructor. Dr. Baltaci has dedicated most of her time on teaching and specially working on research projects in subjects of sports medicine and physiotherapy. She has several research papers published in various International Publications and paper presentations at the International Congresses. She is now working as a Professor at Department of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation on behalf of Faculty of Health Sciences and a faculty member of Sports Physiotherapy post-graduate program at Institute of Health Sciences at Hacettepe University that is one of the finest schools in Turkey
