Biography

Jintao Zhang is an assistant professor in the State Key Laboratory of Cognitive Neuroscience and Learning at Beijing Normal University. He received his PhD degree from the Department of Psychology, Beijing Normal University in 2009, MA in developmental psychology from the Department of Psychology, Beijing Normal University in 2004, and bachelor degree in psychology from the Department of Psychology, Shaanxi Normal University in 1999. He visited Wayne State University and Yale University as an exchange PhD student and visiting scholar in 2008 and 2014 respectively. He is chief investigator in charge of a national natural science grant. Dr. Jintao Zhang’s current work focuses on the brain mechanism of adolescent’s internet addiction, using behavioral and fMRI technique. By contrasting the internet addicts and normal user, his study explore the brain mechanism of the development, maintain and of internet addiction and some cognitive characteristics related to Internet addiction.
