Biography

Dr. Luigi Ferrigno was born in Italy in 1972. In 1998 he graduates with honours the degree of Electronic Engineer at the University of Salerno and in 2002 he reaches the PhD status at the University of Naples “Federico II”. From 2001 he is assistant professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Cassino (Italy) and from 2004 he is the scientific chief of the metrological laboratory of industrial measurement of this faculty. Since 2002 Dr. Ferrigno is a reviewer for the IEEE Transaction on Instrumentation and Measurements and since 2004 he is an IEEE member (N°80045497). Since 2006 he is a technological expert for Local Health Agency (ASL) of Frosinone (Italy). Dr. Ferrigno main research themes are the realization and experimental characterization of measurement instruments for electric, electronic and telecommunication systems based on FGPA, DSP and microcontroller devices. In these research fields Dr. Ferrigno is author of more than 80 scientific papers.
