Dr. Habib Mehrez born in Tunisia in 1955, Professor at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie (UPMC, Paris 6). He is responsible for the team CIAN (ICs Analog and Digital) the department SoC (System on Chip) of LIP6 (Computer Laboratory of Paris 6) He received his Master of Physics and Electronics of the Faculty of Sciences of Tunis in 1979 and DEA IEF (Institute of Fundamental Electronics) from the University of Orsay (Paris XI) in 1980. He completed his thesis 3rd cycle CSF (Central Research Laboratory) Thomson (Corbeville) and received his doctoral degree in Electronics from the University of Orsay in 1983. In 1991, he obtained his PhD in Computer Science from State University Pierre et Marie Curie (Paris 6) University.
Dr. Habib Mehrez’s research interests include: microelectronics: general RISC architectures and DSP processors, algorithms and specific architectures for digital signal processing, algorithm matching architecture, arithmetic operators in fixed and floating commas optimization arithmetic data paths, tools procedural generation of architectures, specific coprocessors, reconfigurable FPGA architectures, tools for FPGA configuration stream, tools for testing and testability, tools for dependability.
