Prof. Dr. Ata Nevzat Yalçın graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1985. In 1992, he completed his specialty at Cumhuriyet University Medical School, Department of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology. After working as a specialist for three years in the same department, he started to work as an assistant professor in Pamukkale University Faculty of Medicine in 1995. In 1996 he became Associate Professor and in 2002 Professor. In 2003, he started to work as a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Medicine, Infection Diseases and Clinical Microbiology. ESCMID, Turkish Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases Association (KLIMÄ°K), Turkish Microbiology Society, Association of Viral Hepatide War Society, Association of Antibiotics and Chemotherapy, Turkish Hospital Infections and Control Association. Twenty-nine book chapters, There are 46 publications in international journals and 87 publications and 120 journals published in national journals. Three book editors are available. He is a referee in various national and international journals. Turkish Clinical Microbiology and Infection Diseases Association Training and Proficiency Committee secretariat (Ä°HKMEYK) between the years 2005-2011. Since March 2011, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infection Diseases. He is currently working at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Infection Diseases and Clinical Microbiology. Turkish Clinical Microbiology and Infection Diseases Association Training and Proficiency Committee secretariat (Ä°HKMEYK) between the years 2005-2011. Since March 2011, he has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Society of Clinical Microbiology and Infection Diseases. He is currently working at Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine, Infection Diseases and Clinical Microbiology.
