Dr. Michael J. Kaplan is a professor of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at Stanford University and is a Neurosurgery Member at Stanford Cancer Institute. He completed his MD at Harvard Medical School in 1977. He specializes in Tongue Neoplasms, carcinoma of the neck, Paranasal Sinus Neoplasms, Paraganglioma Carotid Body, and Salivary Gland Tumors. Michael J. Kaplan scholarly interests are new therapeutic approaches for head and neck cancer, head and neck cancer stem cells identification, characterization and development of innovative surgical methods at the anterior cranial base.
