About Alcohol and Drug abuse

The use and misuse of alcohol and other drugs is one of the more controversial issues in our society.

Use of alcoholic beverages to excess, either on individual occasions (binge drinking) or as a regular practice. Drug abuse is the recurrent use of illegal drugs, or the misuse of prescription or over-the-counter drugs with negative consequences.

Some physical signs such as red eyes, a persistent cough, and change in eating and sleeping habits. Alcohol or drug dependency may include blackouts, withdrawal symptoms, and further problems in functioning at home, school, or work.
