A Case Report of Cardiac Fibromaina 4-Month Infant

Cardiac Fibromas are benign primary tumors that appear in different parts of the heart but frequently located in the ventricles or in the interventricular septum. A Cardiac Fibroma arises as a mass of connective tissue and fibroblasts. They are uncommon tumors and primarily found in the child population, and even more rarely in adults. We report a case of a four-month-old infant with three small masses of white-grey matter with fibroblastic composition located in the ventricles, covering the largest part of the cavity. Histological and Immuno histo chemical stainings were performed in order to microscopically find and confirm the result. Through histo pathological analysis, the masses were found to be a Cardiac Fibroma.
