Interpretation of Bloodless Crime Scene in Death Due to Firearm Injury to Heart – A Case Report

A 35 years old female was suffered with firearm injuries through right side of neck, right side of chest and right arm. The wounds were ante-mortem in nature and inflicted by small calibre firearm weapon to the person in the car on driver seat. Blood stains were present on clothing at sites corresponding to external wounds on the body with negligible amount of blood inside the car on seat which led to suspicion of actual crime scene as car. By presenting this case, we want to give an example of contribution of forensic examination to interpret bloodless crime scene in death due to firearm injury.
