Response of Lobsters to Climate Change

Lobsters are planktonic, which means they have little control of their movement to prevent adverse conditions. The researchers used experiments to expose postlarval lobsters to temperature and acidity levels and their cells changed gene regulation to help shell structure and immune functions under these conditions.
