A cross sectional study was conducted in and around Kombolcha town of Amhara Regional State, North-Eastern Ethiopia from October, 2009 to March, 2010 with the objectives of determining the sero-prevalence and to identify likely potential risk factors of brucellosis in small ruminants. A total of 714 sheep and goats above six months of age with no previous history of vaccination against brucellosis were randomly sampled.
