Several authors have discussed the potential applications of β-blockers, cortiso, opioids, and d-cycloserine, which affect the memory system, as new therapeutic and preventive methods to treat posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Although flashbacks (FBs) are common among many patients with PTSD, no effective treatment for FBs in PTSD has been identified. This paper aims to develop a new therapy for reducing flashbacks in the posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
