Biography

My current research interest focuses on developing a national reminiscence program in Jordan by raising awareness among Jordanian people, health care providers, and health policymakers regarding the importance of reminiscence in promoting mental health. This goal will be accomplished by conducting a series of studies that describe the association between reminiscence functions and other health-related outcomes, as well as studies that describe the differences in reminiscence patterns and functions based on demographic variables.

Applying of electroconvulsive therapy for psychiatric disorder is considered as controversial issue since development of the ECT in 1938. Major depression disorder affects millions of people every year and had several negative consequences on human suffering. Electroconvulsive Therapy (ECT) is still the most effective therapy for treatment of major depression and for cases that need a rapid clinical response.
