Biography
Dr. Abhishek Mukherjee, a Marine Ecologist (specializing in coastal/estuarine/riverine ecology and allied fields), presently is affiliated to the Dept. of Marine Sc., University of Calcutta as post doctoral researcher. He topped the merit list in both his B.Sc. (Hons.) and M.Sc. exams held by the University of Calcutta. A naturalist by passion, he is ever engrossed in his studies on aquatic ecology, mangrove ecology and bio-geochemistry as well as aquatic plants and fish breeding & behaviour.
