Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology, Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, This is a retrospective study that sought to analyze the usefulness of monitoring Brain Natriuretic Peptide (BNP) levels, over time, to determine the response to treatment in patients with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH); the study also sought to determine if any of the echocardiographic and hemodynamic variables, measured at baseline, can predict a favorable response.
