Biography

Dr. Mapayi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Medicine, a masters degree and a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife. At present, she is a Senior Lecturer and consultant psychiatrist at OAU/Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife. She obtained a West African College of Physicians Fellowship in Psychiatry following her residency training at the OAU Teaching Hospitals Complex, Ile-Ife. She has specialized training in REBT (Albert Ellis Institute). She is the coordinator for the annual short course on Adolescent Health in Sub Saharan Africa organized by the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine,
