Biography

Capone received her Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Rhode Island. After completing a postdoctoral fellowship at the Center for Alcohol and Addiction Studies, she accepted a position as PTSD-SUD Specialist at the Providence VA Medical Center. Capone is a licensed clinical psychologist whose primary research interests are in the treatment of co-occurring posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) and substance use disorders (SUD) in military Veterans.
