There are several professional gynecological societies in USA. These organizations are making great contributions to the advancement of gynecology. Publishing periodicals and guidelines of care, arranging conferences and supporting researches are just few benefits to names. The value of these scientific societies is not discussed frequently in the literature. Moreover, many practitioners might not be aware of the existence of some of them. Therefore, I aimed in this communication to shed light on them.
