Biography

Felicity W.K. Harper has completed his Ph.D. & M.S. in Clinical Psychology from University of Georgia, Athens and B.A. in American Studies from Wellesley College, Wellesley, and Postdoctoral Research Fellowship in Department of Behavioural Science from University of Kentucky. He currently works as a professor at the Wayne State University School of Medicine. His current research interests include in Clinical Psychology, Mental Health, and Oncology.

Posttraumatic Stress Symptoms in Parents of Pediatric Cancer Patients: A Mediational Analysis

Prior research finds that anxiety and depression among parents of pediatric cancer patients are associated with posttraumatic stress symptoms in response to children’s cancer. This study examined whether this relationship is mediated by parents’ negative affective reactions in response to their children’s cancer-related treatment procedures.
