Biography

Dr. G. Anvesh is a Nephrologist with a special interest in Renal transplantation. He is the best outgoing student in DM Nephrology from the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences, India and has many Publications in peer reviewed journals to his credit. He is presently a Reviewer for Indian Journal of Nephroloy. He had also presented in many National and International Conferences and have been constantly expanding and sharing his knowledge with his colleagues all over the world. He has a vivid experience in treating and managing the complications after the renal transplants.

The ageing global population and the increased life expectancy have contributed to the rise in the prevalence of older patients with end stage renal failure (ESRD). Renal transplantation is the best treatment option for eligible patients with end stage renal disease. The number of renal transplants has increased rapidly over the last two decades across the world which increased the demand for donor organs. This disparity between the availability of organs and waitlisted patients for transplants has forced many transplant centres across the world to use marginal kidneys and donors.
