Department of Cardiology, Saraf Hospital, Kochi, India, Tissue Doppler is completing 25 years in the year 2014. In spite of the large number of published papers in reputed journals, this has been a specious modality. This is because of the flawed data collection. In tissue Doppler both the measurement and Doppler principles are compromised making the modality totally unacceptable.
