Biochemistry or biological chemistry, is that the study of chemical processes among and regarding living organisms. A sub-discipline of each chemistry and biology, organic chemistry might even be divided into 3 fields: structural biology, biochemistry and metabolism. Over the last decades of the twentieth century, organic chemistry has become made at explaining living processes through these 3 disciplines.
