Biography

Katherine Dixon-Gordon, PhD is a Clinical Psychologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, She received her BS from the University of Washington, her MA and PhD from Simon Fraser University, and completed her internship and postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and GV Sonny Montgomery VAMC. Her clinical and research interests focus on the role of emotion dysregulation in psychiatric conditions such as borderline personality disorder (BPD), self-injury, and other risky or impulsive behaviors.
