I graduated masters of of degree from Addis Abab University in advanced clinical anesthesiology. I have been working as a clinician, academician and consultant in perioperative medicine, and critical care. I have published more than 20 scientific papers on international and national reputable journals. Besides, I worked in republic of South Sudan during the aftermath of the war to coach and mentor the counter part south Sudanese for about 2 years.

Background: worldwide more than 10.1 million people are currently being held in penal institutions. Surprisingly those mental health problems are common in prisons because prisoners live with extensive surveillance, security controls in the absence of ordinary social interaction and abnormal environmental stimulus.
