Biography

Mr. Chiu is a Principal and Head of Accounts Payable in the Ares Global Services Group. Prior to joining Ares in 2017, Mr. Chiu was the Global Process Owner of Accounts Payable at Bloomberg L.P. in New York. Previously, Mr. Chiu was a Director at Credit Suisse, where he was responsible for global procure-to-pay operations and travel and expense management. Mr. Chiu holds a B.S. from the University of Hartford in Accounting.

Recently with the changing landscape of the aging population and the increase in incidence of Alzheimer’s disease (AD), there has been marked interest to develop strategies to prevent, delay and modify AD. We review the diverse lines of evidence in support of the emerging role of cAMP-mediated Phosphodiesterase (PDE) signalling with respect to aging, inflammation and depression.
