Biography

I am a seasoned researcher and assistant professor with 23+ years of educational leadership and research experience in the developmental psychology and literacy arenas. Recognized for demonstrating a natural aptitude for researching intervention strategies, as well as for creating engaging lectures and leading staff development, I have a history of contributing to the body of academic research throughout my career. Research interests include: • Early Language and Literacy acquisition and development • Chinese and English as a second language • Chinese and English as a first language • Bilingualism and multilingualism • Chinese and English dyslexia

Subjective Satisfaction of with Family Relationships among inpatients Diagnosed with Schizophrenia in Guangzhou, China

Objective: Although caregiver relationships are a recognized feature of recovery for people with schizophrenia, subjective satisfaction with individual family and non-family relationships has not been studied systematically nor have factors associated with greater relationship satisfaction been identified.
