Heart surgery impact factor

Generally a surgery on heart is performed to correct problems of heart. The most common type of heart surgery is coronary artery bypass grafting which is generally done in adults. During coronary artery bypass grafting a healthy artery from the body is connected to a blocked coronary artery. The newly grafted artery bypasses the blocked portion of the blocked artery. This creates a new path for oxygen-rich blood to flow to the heart muscle. CABG relieves the chest pain and decreases the risk of heart attack. Heart surgery can be done to repair or replace heart valves, which control blood flow through the heart by implanting medical devices which controls the heartbeat or support heart function and blood flow, The surgery includes replacement of damaged heart with a healthy heart from a donor. Peer review is the process used by publishers and editors of academic / scholarly journals to ensure that the articles they publish meet the accepted standards of their discipline. Manuscripts being considered for publication are sent to independent experts in the same field (the author's scholarly or scientific peers). They evaluate the quality of the scholarship, reliability of findings, relevance to the field, appropriateness for the journal, etc. Most, but not all scholarly journals are peer reviewed. Surgeons can now make small incisions (cuts) between the ribs to do some types of heart surgery. The breastbone is not opened to reach the heart. This is called minimally invasive heart surgery. This type of heart surgery may or may not use a heart-lung bypass machine. Newer methods of heart surgery (such as off-pump and minimally invasive) may reduce risks and speed up recovery time. Studies are under way to compare these types of heart surgery with traditional open-heart surgery. Impact Factor is a measure of the frequency with which the ""average article"" in a journal has been cited in a given period of time. The impact factor is used as standard dimension and the relative importance of a scientific journal within its field. The Impact Factor is calculated by several scientific methods including citation analysis. International Journal of Cardiovascular Research emerges as a best indexed journal with impact factor compared to other competitive journals focusing especially on topics related to cardiac surgery and other cardiology studies by bringing up the recent research to global scientific community through its publications. The papers submitted are undergone through perfect plagiarism checks, later peer reviewed by the expert group and published after through revisions. "
