Dr. Ahmad A Al-Qaisia is a professor of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics at The University of Jordan. He had 4 funded projects and published many peer reviewed articles in journals and conference publications. He had supervised more than 150 undergraduate students in different areas:Modeling and Simulation of Mechanical Vibration Systems, Noise and Vibration Control in Buildings, Modeling of Rotating Blades and Beams, Design of Vibrations Test Rigs, Design of Sound Enclosures, Control Systems for Green Houses.

Dr. Ahmad A Al-Qaisia's research interest are Nonlinear Vibrations and Stability, Nonlinear Vibrations of Carbon Nanotubes, Atomic Force Microscopy, Chaotic Vibrations, Nonlinear Dynamics of Rotating Beams and Blades, Stability of Rotating Blades, Control of Chaos and Bifurcation in Nonlinear Systems, Electro-Mechanical Modeling and Control of Rotating Arms, Cracks and Structural Identification
