My research revolves around computational genetics that includes problems in human genetics, bioinformatics, and statistical genetics .Dr. Alejandro Q. Nato currently a Senior Fellow in Dr. Ellen M. Wijsman's Statistical Genetics Laboratory at the University of Washington, USA. He earned his PhD in the field of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics. He was a postdoctoral associate for the Coordinating Center of the Population Architecture using Genomics and Epidemiology (PAGE) study. Nato also worked at the Health Physics Research Section of the Philippine Nuclear Research Institute as a Science Research Specialist where he was involved in projects on molecular biology, radiation biochemistry, and environmental radioactivity.
