Refereed journal on Hydrology

Hydrogeology refers to the study of the presence and movement of ground water. It can be defined as Interrelationship of geologic materials and processes with water. It is the mode of the occurrence, distribution, movement and chemistry of water occurring in the subsurface in relation to the geological environment. Hydrogeology is an interdisciplinary subject involving both practical and theoretical applications. The interaction between the groundwater movement and geology is a complex subject to follow. As it is a study of all the aspects of groundwater, hydrogeology applies- Physical (exploration, development, and management of the groundwater interations), Chemical (Contamination, Characteristics, evolution of flow paths), Engineering (Mineral deposits, Earthquakes) and Mathematical (approximation) approaches in the analysis. Thus Hydrogeology is the science of groundwater that requires a multidisciplinary approach involving many other sciences: surface hydrology, climatology, geology, geography, physics, chemistry, biology, and more. Journal of Hydrogeology and Hydrologic Engineering (JHHE) is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal. JHHE is a new frontier among the Journals on Hydrology and aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in the mode of original articles, review articles, case reports, short communications, etc. in all major themes pertaining to the distribution and movement of groundwater in the Earth's crust and making them available online freely without any restrictions or any other subscriptions to researchers worldwide. Journal of Hydrogeology and Hydrologic Engineering focuses on the topics that include: Hydrology Modelling, Stormwater Planning, Modeling and Management, Floodway Analysis, Ecohydrology, Hydroinformatics, Ground water quality & Analysis and Erosion & Sedimentation Control. A standard peer-review processing is performed by the editorial board members of JHHE or outside experts; at least two independent reviewers approval followed by editor approval is required for acceptance of any citable manuscript.
