"Immunodiagnostics is a methodology that uses an antigen-antibody reaction as its primary means of detection. It can detect the smallest of amounts of biochemical substances. The techniques used involves the use of a probe that is usually a fluorescent label, radiolabel, or color-forming enzyme, which is conjugated with the antibodies specific for a desired antigen. This technique is used in various applications like pregnancy tests, ELISA, immunoblotting, immunohistochemical staining of microscope slides. Immunodiagnostic techniques are simple to carry out and it ensures speed and accuracy for which there has been considerable development in the techniques. Journal of Primary & Acquired Immunodeficiency Research is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that aims to publish the most complete and reliable source of information on the discoveries and current developments in all areas pertaining to Immunodeficiency.
