Current research in Database management systems
A database management system is a collection of computer software allowing the interface between users and databases. Database management system also gives provision to analyze the data using the software applications. Data base management system is responsible for preserving the integrity and safeguarding the stored data and also to retrieve the information in case of system failure. Defining, creating, querying, updating and administration of databases are done by general purpose DBMS which is a software system. DBMSs present are of various types ranging from small systems which will run on personal computers to huge systems running on mainframes. Some of DBMS can be listed as MySQL, MariaDB, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Access, Oracle, SAP HANA, IBM DB2, Libreoffice base etc. A database is generally not portable over different DBMSs, but different DBMSs can interoperate with the help of standards such as SQL and ODBC or JDBC to enable a single application to work with more than one database. Journal of Computer Engineering And Information Technology emerges as a best indexed, hybrid journal with impact factor compared to other competitive journals focusing on Database management systems by bringing up the recent research to global scientific community through its publications. The papers submitted are undergone through perfect plagiarism checks, later peer reviewed by the expert group and published after through revisions.
