Abstract
Kawasaki Disease in a Patient with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome
We report a case of Kawasaki disease resulting in coronary artery dilation diagnosed in a child with hypoplastic left heart syndrome. Kawasaki disease has rarely been reported in patients with congenital heart disease. This case underscores the need for consideration of Kawasaki disease in differential diagnosis, as well as reviews potential challenges in diagnosis and treatment in patients with congenital structural heart abnormalities.
