Neuro surgery is the medical specialty concerned with the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of disorders which affect any portion of the nervous system including the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and extra-cranial cerebrovascular system.surgery performed on the nervous system, especially the brain and spinal cord. It is the specialized field of surgery that treats diseases that affect the CNS the brain and the spine.Neurosurgical Focus is dedicated to lessening the number and severity of adverse events surrounding neurosurgical intervention for a variety of disorders. Neurosurgeons have begun to utilize endovascular image guided procedures for the treatment of aneurysms, AVMs, carotid stenosis, strokes, and spinal malformations, and vasospasms. Also, nonvascular procedures such as Vertoplasty and Kyphoplasty are used by neurosurgeons. Techniques such as angioplasty, stenting, clot retrieval, embolization, and diagnostic angiography are utilized.Neurosurgery changes constantly. Recent years have seen important organisational changes in the way units are run, such as the proliferation of subspecialisation among consultants and the use of a multidisciplinary team approach to problems. Inevitably, however, it is new equipment that catches the eye of the public, and in recent years exciting new technology has expanded and refined the discipline of neurosurgery. Recent advances Subspecialisation and the development of multidisciplinary teams have improved the management of complex neurological diseases. Neurosurgery as a discipline arose as a result of an increasing need for special expertise in the surgical and non‐surgical treatment of various diseases affecting the nervous system and supporting structures. Therefore, it involves the ability to diagnose, and the technical expertise for the effective surgical treatment of congenital and acquired abnormalities.
