Abstract
This is investigated that Carica papaya (belongs to the family Caricaceae) have essential role in the prevention and treatment of various diseases and also have some therapeutic consequences like ant- fertility, anti- amoebic, anti-ulcerogenic, antifungal, anti-tumor, anti-hypolipidemic and engage in wound relieving activity. Papain and Carpain are the chemicals found in papaya used as meat tenderizer and has the tendency to kill the certain parasites. Many evidences suggested that the Carica papaya lowers the possibility of developing gallbladder and colorectal cancer and also lowers the sugar level in the case of diabetes. It is also effective in HPV, stomach and intestinal problems. Adequate evidence endorsing the use of Carica papaya in the management of disease state. Based on this certitude, the utilization of Carica papaya in clinical wards is extremely proposed.
