Abstract

This study focused on clinical trials among patients with a fungal diseases named as tinea in Punjab, Pakistan. The research was carried out in year 2022-23. This analysis was conducted to focus on three parameters that included gender, age and clinical exploration of the desired infection. A total number of 200 samples were gathered from infected patients with tinea out of which only 155 were observed positive against the skin disease. The observed samples indicated that Trichophyton spp. was more prevalent (62.79 %). According to age vise, the dominent age effected group was 1-12 years (50.5 %). The second parameters indicated that male childern patients were more infected with fungal dermatophyte when compared with females childern. It was also indicated that remote areas or less developed communities were suffered more with tinea. It was concluded that the Trichophyton spp. was spread more in less developed areas and poor senitation villages. Therefore, It is prime and foremost duty of mycological experts to explore awareness and true diagnosis of dermatophyte fungal infections for effective management of the selected disease from Pakistan as well as from world..

Dr. Tanveer Hussain is woring as Assistant Professor in Mirpur University of Science and Technology (MUST), Mirpur- 10250 (AJK), Pakistan. He did my PhD in 2018 from MUST, Mirpur although he have completed some part of PhD research from University of Nebraska Lincoln, USA in 2016-2017. He has published 66 research articles with 85 impact factors. He have attended lot of conferences and published 126 abstracts in proceedings. His 07 book chapters and 02 books have also been published. He has completed 2 research projects. He also acts as a reviewer and editor for many peer reviewed journals.
