Abstract
Drug delivery and connected health technologies will deliver patient centric therapeutics and will transform how patients manage their health in the near future. As personalized health care strategies and companion diagnostics are becoming reality, pharmaceutical and biotech companies are shifting to a positive patient outcome, or ‘pay for value’ based model. Drug delivery technologies to be able to deliver drugs within the therapeutic index and to target the tissues of interest or overcome absorption barriers and are therefore extremely important. This presentation will provide an overview of key drug delivery technologies for patient centric therapies.
